An introduction to Villa d’Antibes

How would you describe Villa d’Antibes in a nutshell?

Villa d’Antibes is a unique and luxurious vacation rental home in Antibes on the Côte d’Azur. This Belle Epoque vacation villa was built in 1926 and fully renovated to include all modern conveniences while maintaining the historic charm of the property.

How would you describe the atmosphere at the villa?

The atmosphere at Villa d’Antibes is very tranquil; you will automatically feel at ease. The villa is an oasis tucked in a quiet residential area near the old town of Antibes. Our well-manicured Provençale-style garden is filled with olive trees, rosemary, lavender, and cypress trees.

The villa is a protected historic landmark that was completely renovated using only high-end materials. We offer our guests the highest comforts, beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes and many quiet and secluded places to relax.

What type of guest is the villa perfect for, and which guests should choose something else?

If someone wants peace and quiet in their accommodation but at the same time desires to be close to restaurants, the beach and city center, Villa d’Antibes is ideally located. We are perfect for families with children or a group of friends who want to meet up somewhere around the world to spend a week together in a luxurious vacation villa near the sea.

People who should shy away are those who prefer to party as we offer a more tranquil setting in the midst of the city center. Our goal is to ensure that our guests can have some peace and privacy while here and go into the city if they want to experience a more fast-paced environment.

Families with children who are looking for a nice family vacation will find Villa d’Antibes ideal, as they can all be together yet have a lot of privacy. Baby cots and high chairs are available at no additional charge. We do however ask guests to bring their own baby blanket for the cot.

What are the highlights of the French Riviera?

The French Riviera is an incredibly beautiful and glamorous place to spend a holiday — especially during the summer season. Guests enjoy the beautiful beaches, go yachting or waterskiing in the Mediterranean, spend time in towns such as Cannes, St. Tropez, St Jean Cap Ferrat, and Nice, or explore some of the historic villages such as Saint-Paul de Vence, Grasse, and Eze.

For guests who visit during the summer, we recommend driving up to one of the villages in Provence such as Gordes to see lavender fields in full bloom and to visit the charming and historic town of Aix-en-Provence.

The location of Villa d’Antibes

Villa d’Antibes is centrally located on the French Riviera between Cannes and Nice. The villa is 20 mins from the Nice Côte d’Azur airport and a short stroll from Antibes’ old town and the beach. Many of our guests really appreciate the convenience of the location and many come without renting a car. They also appreciate that the villa tucked away in a quiet residential area near Antibes but so close to restaurants, bars, and shops in town.

One of the main reasons why people adore the French Riviera is the amazing weather. We have 300 days of sunshine every year. The climate here is fantastic. During the summer months, the weather never gets overly hot or humid and the sea provides refreshing breezes. Antibes is also known for its beautiful white-sand beaches and the clear blue water.

The access that you have the villa other vacation spots is also another reason we chose Antibes. We are 45 mins away from the Italian border, an hour from Provence, and 90 mins from the ski resorts in the region.

When is the best time to visit Côte d’Azur?

We always have sun, even during winter, so each season has its own particular charm. Our guests visit throughout the year as Antibes’ restaurants and shops remain open.

Our peak season is June through September. June is a great time to visit as things are a bit quieter as children are still in school and Antibes is not too crowded. July and August are the peak months for guests in the region and there are lots of outdoor activities such as the famous Antibes Jazz Festival in July and weekly firework shows.

Some of our guests prefer coming in September as the Mediterranean Sea remains warm and there are fewer crowds. The private beaches are also open in September.

Our winter vacation guests are different from those coming to stay in the summer. They prefer a quieter ambiance and enjoy more cultural activities such as the many museums and historic towns in the region. Some guests come to Antibes and go skiing in the Alps near us (90 mins away).
